This 1938 Ankara Turkish Mauser is in great condition with crisp rifling and a clean bore so definitely a shooter. The rifle also includes it's original cleaning rod, and the rifle is all matching number except the bolt which is usually common. The action is very smooth however the rifle will need a good clean out internally as there seems to be quite an amount of grease/cosmoline in certain parts of the rifle (e.g Floorplate, and the front band) as these parts of the rifle seem to be stick due to the grease "gluing" them down so some work will need to be done to get them unstuck. Other than that externally the rifle is in great condition with the wood work only having a few scuffs which is expected for an old surplus rifle. (Buyer to pay post $70 flat rate).
