This rifle is in very good to excellent used original condition and has all matching numbers. It has an excellent bore and comes with original leather sling, leather bayonet frog and a bayonet with scabbard as well. The woodwork is very sound but has some dings consistent with military field use. The rifle has been well looked after during its service and under the butt plate is a card with the name of the original Swiss soldier to whom the rifle was issued.
