Extremely rare marlin mod 37 22 pump action. (22L 22LR 22SHT) Has Marlin Firearms Corp USA patd USA march 24 1908 2 patents, in front of rear sight& J M on left side of barrel in front of receiver. This model was only in production for 3 years from 1913 - 1916 ( ref. American blue book of guns ). Hence the rarety. This rifle has a good barrel & shoots well, no rust , however has slight pitting on tang. bluing is vg, timber has minor marks with no cracks evident & butt plate is non original, The magazine is unique where the outer slides forward to reveal the loading port. This is the only mod 37 I’ve seen in over 50 years in shooting. Will consider all reasonable offers. Only selling to find a new project.
