Comment: Price includes postage to your local dealer excluding WA and some reginal areas. This is an original pre 64 Winchester M70 with controlled feed and claw extractor. These are never easy to find and the metal work on this one is in excellent condition and has just been professionally reblued by Total Solutions Engineering (TSE) in Brisbane and looks great. I had it reblued as the original blueing was worn off from gun bag storage but no pitting or rust present so it came up beautifully and markings are all crisp. Serial number is 463591 which when checked on the Winchester collectors webpage serial number look up says 1960 manufacture. Its chambered in the awesome 243win and has the original Winchester marked barrel. There is some wear in the rifling to be expecting with the age but still presents plenty of life in the bore and shoots well. The stock shows no obvious splits or cracks but some of the original finish has come off in locations from age and wear and I have chosen to leave the original finish for the buyer to decide if they want to leave it as is or have an original style finish redone or strip and gloss oil. This stock would clean up very nicely and only thing that appears to be missing is the original sling swivels. If your a Winchester collector or love old quality rifles this one could be for you.
