Original Belgian-made FN Browning “Trombone” .22 rimfire pump-action takedown rifle, manufactured by Fabrique Nationale d’Armes de Guerre, Herstal, Belgium. Serial number 35546, dating to the early–mid 1930s.
This is a classic John M. Browning design, made in Belgium during the pre‑WWII period. The metal retains a very dark, even finish (strong original blue) with no significant rust or pitting. The bore is clean and the action works easily. The wood is very good.
