Comment: This is the one gun to do all your hunting. 30-30 for deer, pigs and goats. 20g shotgun for the same critters, plus change the shot for rabbits, cats and foxes. This Savage Model 24V is the ideal carry gun for just about all game. I have used it in NSW State Forests using my R Licence to take deer with the 30-30, and pigs, foxes and rabbits with the 20g. Ths particular model is in very good to excellent condition, since it is only taken out once a year to check zero and followed by a hunt. Action is colour case-hardened, locks up tight. You won't find one of these in better condition. If you are looking for one gun that is ideal for hunting small and medium game, then this is it. Being a single shot you can handload with pointed projectiles, giving you a greater range of projectiles from 110gr upwards. I have handload data available for 130gr Sierra or Speer projectiles.
