For sale is a CUSTOM SMITH & WESSON MOD. 64-6 D.A. REVOLVER built by the master Gunsmith Max Wray.

.38 cal.; 6 shot fluted cylinder; 148m/m heavy barrel fitted, bore exc. with crisp rifling; polished finish to stainless steel metalwork presents well, some surface marring, Action is tight and times well.

The trigger is butter smooth with a great break and fitted with an adjustable overtravel grub screw. It has a grip beavertail fitted and the Hammer is bobbed also fitted with an ARISTOCRAT 3 position sight/rib to top of barrel.

The gun is fitted with an integral beavertail which spreads recoil over a larger surface area of the hand, which helps control the muzzle rise. It allows the shooter to place their hand higher up on the revolver, closer to the bore axis which helps control the muzzle rise.

Revolver is also fitted with walnut thumb groove one-piece grip, stippled texture; overall in exc. wo & vg. cond. #CCS7058

I originally purchased this revolver for my wife, but the gun is a little too heavy for her even after I had Jim Cohan my Gunsmith reduce the original Bull barrel to a Slabbed barrel.
