Original Aldis Brothers 1916 Military Telescopic Scope – Serial No. 68108 – SMLE Sniper Scope

Genuine Aldis Brothers Pattern 1916 military-issued telescopic scope, serial number 68108. This scope was fitted to an SMLE (Short Magazine Lee-Enfield) using Purdey rings, as used on early British sniper rifles.

The scope is additionally marked with rifle serial number 7538 and the inspection/identifier marking “V”. A scarce and highly desirable piece of British military sniper equipment from the First World War period.

Optics are exceptionally clear, with a sharp image, and all functions operate correctly. Drop adjustments, focus, and mechanical features are fully functional.
