The Rifle No. 4 is the iconic evolution of the legendary Lee–Enfield series. Adopted by the British military in 1941, it replaced the World War I-era SMLE (Short Magazine Lee-Enfield) No. 1 Mk III as the standard-issue service rifle for British and Commonwealth forces throughout World War II and the Korean War. It was designed specifically to be stronger, lighter, and much easier to mass-produce under wartime conditions. This example is chambered in .308 and comes with scope and bipod.
