SPRINGFIELD MOD. 1903 B/A SERVICE RIFLE: 30-06 cal; 5 rnd integral magazine; 24” barrel with exc. bore &

well-defined rifling; matte military finish to metalwork presents exc, normal wear on bolt; top of breech covered by

mount, 1903 SPRINGFIELD still visible; S A over ordnance flaming shell stamp, 2 – 33 to top of barrel before front

sight; std. tangent sight with 3 – 27 graduations; bolt cycles v. smoothly & trigger crisp; woodwork in vg. overall cond,

some light handling marks overall & five v. small holes to rhs of stock; DS & MA over LITHGOW 1943 cartouche to

lhs of woodwork before safety; sling swivels to stock, barrel band & forewood cap; knurled alloy butt with trap; fitted

with 10 x SPOT – SHOT M.A. LITSCHERT marked scope with alloy thread dust caps, front marked USMC; g.

blued finish to scope with some linear wear lines; alloy mounting blocks to receiver & handguard has been modified to

suit barrel mount; overall in exc. wo & vg.
