Looking for a hunting rifle without breaking the bank? This Remington Model 788 in .222 has been a workhorse on the range and in the field.
The stock has a few scuffs. The bore is bright and clean. Trigger pulls cleanly. I've successfully hit targets at 400m consistently with this rifle/scope combo. The bolt sometimes does not eject brass due to a worn ejection claw, and can come out if pulled back hard when cycling due to a worn lug. Plastic thumb piece has been lost from safety Catch
