For sale is this Lithgow 1941 SMLE.
The rifle is an ex-Geelong Grammar School rifle and is in good condition.
The bore and bolt-face are ok, and it comes fitted with a beautifully clear 'Hensoldt Wetzlar'. DIAPI-D. 2.5x17,5 scope.
Comes with sling and reloading dies.
If purchased locally, can also supply some reloaded ammo loaded for it.
Bought this rifle for the history and to have a play with, but unfortunately just don't have the time to enjoy it, so moving it on for someone who does.
