Historically important early factory (?) engraved S & W Model 14 revolver made in 1958, the year after they began numbering their models. Inscription on sideplate shows it to have been presented to Peter Garrett the winner of the first Australian Centrefire Championships held in Hobart in 1958. Rosewood (?) diamomd grips with no extractor cutout and a four screw frame as is correct for this time.
It is in perfect shooting condition with very smooth double action with target hammer and trigger. Single action trigger weight is just over 1000 grammes. A unique piece, part of Australian shooting history. Suit shooter or collector. Buyer to pay transport cost.
