An Enfield 1907 bayonet in good to very good condition. Manufactured in 1916 at the Enfield factory in the UK. Markings include: the crown and initials 'GR' - King George, the date 1916, EFD for the Enfield factory, 1907 for the bayonet type. The blade itself shows no signs of being sharpened since it left the factory with a sharp edge and point. The leather scabbard is in good condition with some black enamel paint remaining on the metal parts. The bayonet fits the scabbard smoothly and holds it well. Overall a good to very good example of a 1916 Enfield bayonet.
