Custom rifle based on Weatherby Mark V in the superb classic 300 Holland and Holland.
Custom Hatcher stock, checkered by Ross Waghorn, ebony fore end, engraved horn grip cap and red Pachmayr recoil pad (also fitted by Ross).
Sprinter barrel, Recknagel sights, front is Holland & Holland Style. Flip forward to expose a .0781" silver bead, flip back to use of the .150" diameter 'ivory style' bead for poor light conditions or close up hunting.
Recknagel rear island sight - one fixed, two folding leaves, Recknagel barrel band, front sling eyelet 'two screw' rear sling eyelet.
Inlaid metal grip cap featuring African game (looks like Eastern Cape Kudu).
Comes with dies, cases and the excellent Leupold quick detach rings and bases in either 30mm or 1 inch (your choice).
I have loved owning this rifle, it is just too nice for me to justify taking it out into the field.
