No.5 Mk.1 BSA (M47 factory stamped) Jungle Carbine (1945) professionally and beautifully restored by renowned gun-smith Rob Spittles with matching numbers on all major components (including the timber furniture which is rare) and a very good barrel.
Completely stripped and refinished/refurbished by Rob Spittles of Meroo River Gunsmithing and presents very very well, remains unfired since refurbishment.
You will go a long way to find a better example than this one, this was one of the bosses personal purchases before sending it for refurbishment and it is one of the best we have seen.
It has had a stock repair near the magazine well at some point in it's life but it has been well executed and does not detract from the rifle, if anything it imparts it's story that war can is hell...
Manufactured by BSA in 1945 (as per M47 and year stamps on the action) it will make a fantastic addition to anyone's collection.
