Kar98k made at Obendorf (code: 42) in 1939. Good Condition, suspected Russian Capture due to electro pencil marks on bolt and nice bluing done to metal work. Has desired dirty birds and proof marks.

Overall condition is Good to Very Good, bore condition is Good however.

The honest reason for selling is it does not shoot as accurately as I’d hope for a Kar98k and my dream rifle. Prefers flat based projectiles (Norma and Sako, or hand loads) however I can’t get it to group tight, better off for someone looking to have a nice kar98k for the collection rather than a shooter. Can probably make it shoot well as the rifling is defined mostly throughout, though a bit worn in the centre. I might just be missing something such as bolt headspace or to hand load (which I don’t yet).

Action cycles smoothly, no numbers matching except receiver to stock and barrel. Comes with original leather sling in good condition overall.
