Comment: This is an original Mauser manufacrured Swedish model 1896 bolt action service rifle chambered for the 6.5x55mm Swedish service cartridge. The receiver ring stamped Oberndorf 1899 and is clip a fed five (5) internal magazine. The rifle was only used as a competition target rifle and never used for any other purpose. There are no alterations to its originality and is an "as issued service rifle". The rifle has a micro sight attachment inserted into the rear sight, a muzzle flash hider, a screw on muzzle cap when the flash hider is not installed. Additionally it has a sight protector fitted to as standard and was never removed. The bore is very clean and does have a good shine to it, when veiwing through the bore of the barrel. There are 100 once fired PMC cartridge cases included with this sale. Purchaser will be required to have and provide evidence of a current firearms licence, endorsed with the appropriate for this rifles firearm catagory. Purchaser to accept the cost of transfer to their receiving firearms dealer, and the dealers licence number.
