Comment: This is a 1909 SHTLE Enfield .22LR converted .303 with an extremely rare Hiscock-Parker training rifle magazine. The Hiscock-Parker magazine was designed to work together with .22LR converted .303 rifles to help train British troops duting WW1.  It is believed around 4000 were made but they were withdrawn from service after only around two years and most were returned to British arsenals.  This is a very rare item.  The rifle itself in concert with the magazine, is a five round .22LR repeater and is in very good condition for its age and is fully functional. Mag serial no. is 650. This rifle was built and given to my late grandfather many years by his rifle club and as such is a one of a kind. It is fitted with a No 4 Central micrometer style rearsight and a front tunnel sight that can take interchangeable elements.  Under the pistol grip is affixed a brass box and cap designed to hold extra sight elements.  The rifle and magazine will be sold together, I will not separate the items.   Buyer to pay transfer and any shipping fees as determined by my dealer.
