Original Winchester 1873 lever action rifle chambered in 44-40 (44 WCF). Manufactured in 1891. Heavy octagonal barrel and full length magazine. Original timber intact but shows it’s age. Fore grip timber has a couple of old, repaired cracks but still functional. Original sights. Decent roll stamps to barrel and top and bottom tangs. ‘King’s Improvement’ patent to barrel top. Clear and visible rifling with some frosting. Muzzle has been counter bored at some stage in the past. 
Cycles and fires well. Tested with cast bullets and light Trailboss load. 
‘44 cal’ visible to bottom of brass carrier. Brass trapdoor in butt plate. Dust cover included (not pictured) though it is more silvery than the rest of the rifle and has either been polished or is a replacement. Heaps more photos available via email or text.
