The multi-calibre AXMC comes in OD Green with a 20" stainless quick-change 1 in 9.35" twist barrel chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum, a tactical muzzle brake, 60-degree opening, six-lug front locking bolt, 2-stage trigger, 3-position safety, 10-shot double-stack box magazine, adjustable buttstock and cheekpiece, Keyslot forebody shroud, flush-cup sling points and a 30 MOA Picatinny action rail.
Purchased new as an R&D ‘performance benchmark’ only, this AXMC super magnum has fired less than 50 rds and was scheduled to become a 7mm-300 Norma Magnum, but there are simply too many projects currently on the go.
