Jungle Carbine – Fazakerley No. 5 Mk I ROF (F), dated 10/45 chambered in 303 British.
This rifle is in excellent original condition and looks unused. It has matching bolt and receiver serial numbers 8181. The bore is in excellent shape for an 80-year-old firearm. The only issues are a few small racking dents in the stock and also, it would appear that the front RHS sight guard is misaligned inwards. A gunsmith could open this back to original position.
Jungle Carbines have an interesting history and are increasingly hard to find — especially in such well-preserved, original condition like this one which was built a month after the end of WWII. A great collectible for a Lee Enfield collector.
