Comment: *Attention Collectors*  Colt 1911 .38 AMU (Advanced Marksmanship Unit) semi auto pistol in very good condition.  .38 AMU pistols were custom made by Colt Gunsmiths between the late 1950's to 1962 for the U.S. Army Markmanship Unit to compete competitively in the National Match Competitions.  Some .38 AMU pistols were made from kits without frames shipped from Colt and assembled into target guns - this may have been a 'kit gun'.  Still a rare piece of American target pistol shooting history.
Chambered in .38 AMU (not .38 Special), but a slightly modified .38 Special case, comes with one magazine and barrel bushing spanner.  Additional images available on request.  Buyer to pay postage/transfer fees where applicable.  Unfortunately cannot post to W.A.
