This is my favourite rifle I own. I just don’t have a good enough reason to hold onto it. 

The JM stamped barrel has been shortened to 16” like the trapper model and the rifling is still crisp and shoots tight groups. It’s super handy and a pleasure to carry. The receiver and barrel have a few scratches from the years of being carried in the bush but this is a deer/pig killer not a safe queen.
It cycles the Hornady ammo I use well and the standard non-big loop lever helps with speedy loading. The action runs super smoothly and the 45-70 hits very hard.

Rifle will not come with the red dot however it can come with a 1” scope ring set for an additional cost.
