Up for grabs is a Sako A1 in 222 – if you know these rifles, you know what you’re looking at.

It’s fitted with the original Sako rings and bases (pre-Optilock) in low. these Sako bases and rings which are getting very hard to find and worth over $700 on their own in the sako collectors world. On top sits a period-correct Leupold Vari-X II 3-9x40 in gloss steel. These old gloss Leopold's are getting rarer by the day and they just look “right” on an A1 and they are extremely rugged

The rifle itself is a genuine tack driver. Bore is excellent.
Rifle has been 2 part bedded with DEVCON bedding and is fully freefloated
You’re not just buying a rifle here, you’re buying a proper package that’s becoming harder to put together. Rings, bases, and scope alone are almost impossible to source these days, let alone on an A1 in this condition. Youll see by photos of the boltface it has barely any work.
