Comment: Sabatti Big Five, side by side, double rifle in 450NE calibre. This is an excellent rifle that shoots very, very well. It has mostly been used on the range but was taken on one successful buffalo hunt in the NT. On that hunt, it ended up with a couple of minor handling marks and one small patch of disturbed blueing. The disturbed blueing was the result of being swarmed by green tree ants and while brushing them off, one of them sprayed formic acid on a small section of the barrel resulting in a patch of disturbed blueing, around 2cm by 1cm, but with no damage to the metal work. The rest of the blueing is excellent and most of the stock finish is excellent, too. This is a very reluctant sale and only due to financial considerations because this rifle is truly a keeper. Buyer to pay postage and I am open to sensible offers.
