Comment: Original and untouched Savage 99-358 for sale. This model was only made between 1977 and 1980, so there are not many about. This rifle is in excellent condition and is the best 99 I have ever seen (and I have owned a number of 99s). I don't believe that this rifle has fired many rounds, if it was fired at all! Blueing is 99%, all screws are good with no damaged heads and all appear to have never been touched. Bore is excellent, rotary magazine and round counter clean with no dust or grime. The feedramp shows signs of only a couple of rounds having been fed out of the magazine. The woodwork is almost perfect with just a couple of small storage/handling marks. This is a very reluctant sale and would suit the collector of Savage 99s. Buyer to pay postage and reasonable offers considered.
