The NSW government claimed that their new gun laws would take 'guns off our streets', but the evidence suggests that the OPPOSITE is happening, that actually there are FEWER illegal guns being handed in at gun shops and police stations, with hand-overs down as much as 40%. 

So not only is this new legislation punishing LAWFUL gun owners for no benefit, actually it looks like it's worse than that, it's punishing lawful gun owners for a NEGATIVE benefit... and in the end there might be MORE illegal guns than there would have been if they'd left the laws alone.

That sounds impossible, but the data clearly suggests that it's true!
