Keen (ok tragic) collector seeking Commonwealth/British Empire Fencing muskets. A fencing musket is a training rifle, typically made of wood, designed for practicing bayonet techniques. It features a spring-loaded plunger or a rubber-tipped rod in place of a barrel, simulating the action of a bayonet thrust without the danger of a sharp blade. These were used to train soldiers in bayonet fighting, a common part of military training, especially in the past.  Interested in: * Martini Henry conversions * Lee Metford conversions * Lee Enfield conversions * Plus all Mark I - X’s
