EDGEWARE ROAD. LONDON. engraved to top strap, B.919. over ADAMS’ PATENT. No. 16971. R. to rhs of frame & No. 16971. R. to cylinder; all engraved & stamped marking are crisp; some peening to lhs of frame; action indexing well, strong sears & springs; sliding cylinder stop safety to rhs of frame; front sight dovetailed to barrel; some screw heads slightly burred; single piece chequered walnut grip presents exc., some minor handling marks, inletted to lhs for loading lever; steel butt cap; overall in vg. wo & g.+ cond. #16971 Pre 1900 Seen very little use, would grade up with a bore clean.
