JAN.13.DEC.15.1857.SEPT.7. address, barrel marking faint; crisp forest & game scene roll stamped pattern to cylinder, depicting deer, rabbits birds etc; serial no. 171 marked to lhs of frame under grips, both grips internally, cylinder, loading lever & breech face of action; mechanically exc., cylinder indexing crisp, strong sears & springs; distinctive loading lever doubles as trigger guard, operates smoothly; some corrosion to nipples, screws g.; German silver front blade sight dovetailed to barrel, grooved top strap rear sight; smooth gips present well, well figured walnut, some light handling marks, 40%+ varnish finish remaining ; overall in vg. wo & g. cond. #171 Pre 1900
