This Browning Highpower GP35 was manufactured at the Belgian factory whilst it was under Nazi occupation during World War 2.. A serial number search reveals that the pistol was manufactured in 1944. The Belgians were not fond of their German masters therefore the finish on the pistol is fairly rough - machining marks are clearly visible and the Fabrique Nationale branding on the slide is not straight. This pistol is clearly Nazi marked on both the slide and receiver and is in sound working condition. It has been test fired and cycles perfectly. A great example of the highpower made by FN under duress during wartime - an excellent piece of history for the collector.
