Hi here’s a rare 1923 Lithgow.it has all matching numbers- rifle including the rear sight and wood.it has 1943 salz timber on front of rifle but still looks like it’s the original but.it was assigned to the 4 md that stamp on the butt and has stamp 1/44 also on butt plus the Lithgow star. the barrel itself is about 50%and is still shiny.the action has green paint on it so I say it’s seen action in ww2 .a great collector piece for those who are collecting by years.note it may have been used as a range rifle at some point in its life as there’s timber on left that shows it had a range sight on it
