Comment: Czech made K98 Mauser. BRNO VZ4. 8x57mm Mauser. Made in 1937. Long action, control round feed with large claw Extractor. 24" barrel. Listed as Fair condition, but good condition overall for its age. The original woodwork has dents as per photos, but no cracks or splits. Metal bluing also good overall. Rifling is pronounced, however the bore is not very bright, compared to a new gun. Bought from a gun shop approx 15 years ago. Military surplus. Appeared to be packed in grease most of its life. Required further cleaning and disassembly once getting it home. Rifle cycles, functions and shoots flawlessly. Fired less than 40 rounds. Can include some Winchester ammo with the sale for Vic buyers only.
