For sale: Jungle Carbine MK-1 No.5 British bayonet by Wilkinson Sword, London (undated). Made for the No.5 Jungle Carbine and also used on the Sterling SMG. This example is in very good condition with an 8-inch fullered Bowie blade.  There is a small amount of pitting in a couple of spots on the blade

Wilkinson produced 188,354 No.5 bayonets from 1944-47, with smaller numbers made by Viners, Radcliffe, Elkington, and a limited post-war run by ROF Poole.

The ricasso is marked “WSC” with the dispersal code S2944; the obverse shows the broad arrow, bend-test “X,” and a crowned inspection mark. Additional number markings appear on the pommel.
