Comment: This is an original Mauser C96 Model 1930 (M30) Chinese Contract pistol（德国制）, an increasingly scarce example of the large commercial shipments Mauser supplied to China in the early 1930s. These pistols were highly valued at the time for their reliability, powerful 7.63×25mm cartridge, and distinctive broom-handle profile, and they remain one of the most recognisable early semi-automatic designs.The Chinese-contract M30s represent the final major production era of the C96 platform. Large quantities were shipped to China during a period of conflict and rapid modernisation, making these pistols an iconic part of Chinese Republican-era military history. Authentic examples with clear markings have become highly desirable in the collector market.
