One for the collector? Action is stamped Stirling Tikka Finlander, butt pad stamped Ithaca, this suggests a Fuller Firearms special from the 1970`s.
The rifle was a ‘barn find’ and had been in storage for many years and was very dirty, however I was delighted to find that as I cleaned up the action/barrel, it was obvious that this rifle had had minimal use.
Bore was very good, bolt face showed no marks, trigger adj screw still had factory paint on it, all screw heads crisp etc, filigree rust pitting on top part of barrel between front & rear sight.
The stock has been marked by moisture, otherwise all good and checkering as new.
At the range it shot 2-inch groups at 200 yds with handloads and a 4 x scope and old eyes, sadly health issues now mean I must sell.
Comes with mounts and 25 or 26 mm rings, NO scope and new .243 dies, located Brisbane, buyer pays freight or delivery SE Qld by arrangement
