Comment: Victorian issue Enfield manufacture Martini-Henry MK III rifle made in 1884. In fair to good but original condition, fortunately hasn't been cleaned up or restored. Rifling is very strong, some minor pitting in grooves but would make a good shooter. Metalwork does has some some scattered patches of pitting, mainly on muzzle end of barrel & right side of action but generally presents well. Woodwork is well above average in condition, only light handling marks & bruising. Right side of butt is marked with two Victorian Government roundel stamps along with the Enfield stamp. Presents really well and too good to be gathering dust in the back of the gun safe. No license required in Victoria and most other states.
