This is my high horsepower scrub weapon.

The barrel has been shortened from 26” to 16” and threaded for a muzzle device. This has reduced a lot of weight and brought the weight balance back which makes it carry and handle much better. I’ve also stippled the magazine to increase traction on the underside of the rifle which is nice on cold mornings when your fingers don’t work very well.
The stock is in very good condition with a few light scratches on the side thanks to some blackberry bush. The recoil pads on these rifles work amazingly and makes the big 300 feel more like a spicy 308.
The barrel presents as new. It’s had 2 boxes of Sako ammo through it.
The trigger has been lightened and the bolt polished for extra smoothness.

Get out in the bush with a light weight, handy rifle that will have you equipped for the quick sub 100m fallow or across the gulley for the big boy with the extra power to put him down when the distance and wind increases.
