Comment: 1941 Mauser obendorf k98k Portuguese contract rifle, UNFIRED.

 This is a complete and fully matching numbered (#15402) Portuguese contract k98k in complete original unmolested, unrestored and unfired  condition, it still has grease throughout the action and the barrel was also grease packed until last year when the gentleman I got it off thought he should clean it out for me. It has never been altered or has there been any attempt at any improvements, just oiled and stored, small rust blemishes are present as is normal with a rifle of this age but I thought better of trying to rectify this and keep the rifle original. All components boast the same serial number and all the correct insignia, waffems eagles etc are in perfect condition, the original blueing is also near perfect aswell with the only imperfections being the small rust patches on front sight hood and bolt handle. Bolt face is clean and the rifle has been deemed unfired by my local gunsmith. The stock is imperfect as is every one of these k98k rifles.
