S/NO. 22L6760 Purchased from a collector in NZ in 1983, it has matching serial numbers. The stock is in beautiful condition with very attractive coloration and is fitted with the original issue sling. The fore end woodwork is grooved, as is typical with a LONG BRANCH arsenal manufacture. The Small Arms Ltd factory was at Mississauga near Toronto, Ontario and produced approx. 1.5M of these rifles between 1941 and 1945. The 2 groove rifling bore is in excellent condition. Fitted with SMLE L-flip 300/600 yard type rear sight. Included is the original flip-up ladder type rear sight, the original Bakelite oil bottle and string pull-through in the butt , more photos available
