Comment: For sale is a very attractive Enfield No4 Mk 1 project rifle that has been converted to clone a number 5 Enfield jungle carbine reproduction. A genuine Fazerkely flash hider has been sleeve fitted onto a number 4 barrel shortened to exactly match the appearance of a Jungle Carbine by a professional gunsmith. The forewood is from an enfield number 4 where the butt is a reproduction with a new rubber and butt plate. The rear sight has been replaced to take the appropriate number 5 flip up sight and the bolt handle has been relieved as per a typical looking jungle carbine bolt handle. The Wood overall has been finished very nicely with a tiger striped pattern, the rifle cycles very smoothly and is very accurate given the heavy barrel.
