Comment: This rifle was manufactured at the Lithgow Factory in 1944. It has been fitted with a Lithgow heavy barrel and is in sound operating condition. The numbers are not matching but the bore is excellent and the headspace is within spec. The receiver has been drilled to accept a scope mount at some point however this has no impact on the operation or the operation of the rifle. A good functional piece of Australian military history.
