Sportwaffen Tyrol was established from the remains of TMH after WW II in Kufstein, Austria. Tyrol produced excellent quality sporting rifles until 1964, after which the company assets were taken over by Voere. This particular Model 5022 is a very good example & has a relatively early serial number indicating late '50's production. this Tyrol has had some rebluing done at some stage, & the stock has been refurbished, so there isn't much more that needs to be done, as it presents very well already. This rifle has the matching butter knife handled bolt with flag safety, a five round Tyrol magazine & is ready to use. Scopes can be mounted to the rear dovetail by way of a "BKL" 4 inch cantilever mount, part number 254 MB. The original Tyrol sling swivels are included, but not fitted. The removable windage adjustable Mauser style rear sights on these rifles are excellent, & have been seen advertised for $200 alone. I would prefer to keep this rifle, but need to make space, so this right hander becomes the obvious choice, - I am a lefty. Price of $500 does not include post or transfer. Located Adelaide, SA.
