Comment: 1912 BSA Sht LE MkIII (SMLE). Front & rear volley sight, windage adjustable rear sight, magazine cut-off, Queensland Police stamp (QP600), Brisbane Prison Armoury stencil (BPA 170). Matching action, original 1912 barrel, rear sight, nose cap, lower stock. Upper stock also appears to be original, matches lower perfectly, can't see any numbers on it. Bolt not matching. Usual marks & wear but in pretty good condition. Has the usual tiny crack just below rear volley sight that SMLE's get when someone tightens a screw in the wrong order, hardly noticeable though. Barrel appears okay to me, bullet does not go all the way in when placed in the muzzle, sticks out about one third. Hardly used by me. Safety & headspace checked by gunsmith when I bought it but didn't think to keep the paperwork. Postage included. No tyre kickers.
