Comment: This is a 1917 Lithgow made SHTLE III. The action, bolt, butt and nosecap serial numbers match. The rifle has the H marked heavy barrel and the bore is in very good, sharp condition. The stock was cleaned up and refinished a number of years ago as it was very oil stained and it retains arsenal stampings. The rifle comes with a military issue canvas style sling. This rifle has had very little use in the many years I have had it and functions perfectly. It is available to view in Hartley's Hunting and Fishing, Bendigo where it is for sale on consigment. Buyer to pay transfer and postage costs as determined by my transferring licensed dealer.
