Comment: Mauser mod. 1896 from the Boer War. With serial number A1103 this was in the first batch ordered by the transvaal republic and almost certainly saw action against the English. Rifle is clean and in good condition for its age. Serial numbers not matching (most don’t). Letter “H” carved into left side of stock. I have contacted a historian about the rifle but he didn’t have any more information on it or who “H” could be. Will come with 3 packets of ammo if purchased in WA. Shipping at buyers expense.
