Comment: Collector or shooter. A rare LEC Carbine, originally an artillery weapon, refurbished in 1902 for use by the Royal Irish Constabulary. Excellent bore, correct receiver dust cover, swept bolt handle and magazine cut-off. Short magazine, with correct chain link to receiver. Only 11,000 (ceased 1914)with most scrapped in the early 1920s.
